Using a dynamic EQ is going to fix that up for you. This is a very good option if you need to tame down some problematic frequencies that you don’t want to just cut out of the mix, but you just want to have a bit more control dynamically speaking. If I activate dynamics, this is going to transform itself as a compressor for this frequency range. Okay, so now I’m cutting at around 245 Hertz. I’m going to start by just de-activating the dynamic side, and I’m just going to bring down the gain of this band. Once dynamics is active, you will have access to the threshold ratio attack and release. So we can also select a single view and that will give us access to a more detailed side of each bands, where we’re going to have access to a bunch of parameters, especially focused to dynamic EQ, which is this one right here that we need to activate if we want to use it. And we can activate it straight from the main panel by clicking on D-Y-N on the top side of each band. Dynamic EQ is going to be found on every single band that we have here, so we have a total of eight. And by the way, most of the sounds that you’re going to hear on this piece of music is coming from the new samples included in Cubase 11. So for example, I have this EQ on the stereo bus of this piece of music that I actually put together briefly for this video. When we’re talking about dynamic EQ, we’re talking about a compressor that will compress a specific frequency range, determined by the band of this EQ. So what is new with this version? Dynamic EQ. In Cubase 11, we have frequency two, which is the updated version of frequency. And we are talking about dynamic EQ and new plugins. Now, let’s start by one of my favorite features out of this new version of Cubase. And for all of you, if you enjoy this video, and if you like Cubase 11, please share and like this video.
